Managing Stress
STRESS 911! is a knowledge-based course that educates on the affects and effects of various types of stress on our physical, mental, and emotional well being. Stress 911! assists individuals on how to establish processes to manage, minimize, or overcome stress. This course incorporates relaxation games, activities, student interaction, role playing, and simple stress quizzes that enable students to better identify and manage the stress in their lives.
At the end of this course, students should be able to:
• DEFINE STRESS - What is Stress?
• IDENTIFY STRESSORS - What Causes Stress?
• DETERMINE THE AFFECTS OF STRESS – Got Health?
• RECOGNIZE THE SIGNS
• OVERCOME and MANAGE STRESS
